Where is Layang located? +

Layang is based in Labuan, Malaysia. We are a walk-in studio — no appointment needed. Address to be confirmed before publishing. Open during business hours.

Do I need to book an appointment to visit? +

No. Walk-ins are welcome any time during business hours. Come in and tell us what you need — we will help you from the counter.

How do I get a quote? +

Three ways: (1) Walk in to the studio, (2) Send us a WhatsApp message with your requirement, or (3) Fill in the enquiry form on our contact page. For most standard products we can give you a price within 15 minutes.

Do you deliver within Labuan? +

Yes. Delivery within Labuan is available for orders above a certain value. For small jobs, same-day collection from the studio is usually the fastest option.

Can I order from outside Labuan? +

Yes. We work with clients in KL, Sabah, Sarawak, and elsewhere via WhatsApp and email. We can arrange courier delivery or coordinate with your representative in Labuan.

Stickers & Labels

What is the minimum order for stickers or labels? +

From as few as 10 pieces — practical for small-batch product labels, souvenir packaging, and seasonal sticker runs before committing to a larger quantity.

Can I see the material before I order? +

Yes. Walk in and we will put the physical material samples in your hands — BOPP, vinyl, holographic, UV DTF, foil, static cling. You approve the finish before a single piece is printed.

What sticker materials do you offer? +

BOPP (waterproof, ideal for bottles and food packaging), vinyl (outdoor and vehicle), holographic film, UV DTF crystal, foil stamp, transparent, static cling, and paper (indoor only).

Are your labels waterproof and refrigeration-safe? +

BOPP and vinyl materials are waterproof and refrigeration-safe. Confirm your specific application and we will recommend the right substrate.

How long does sticker or label printing take? +

Most standard jobs are available for same-day collection. For large quantities, custom die-cuts, or special finishes, confirm the turnaround when you enquire.

Banners & Display

What banner formats do you offer? +

Tarpaulin PVC banners, fabric tension displays, mesh banners, roll-up stands, feather flags, step-and-repeat backdrops, bunting strings, and pop-up displays.

What is the turnaround for banner printing? +

Most banners and buntings are available for same-day or next-day collection for standard jobs. Send your size, quantity, and required date and we will confirm.

My event is on Saturday — is it too late? +

Send us a WhatsApp right now with your size and design. For most standard banner sizes, same-day production is available.

Signboards & Signage

What types of signboard do you produce? +

Acrylic panels, LED channel letters, halo-lit letters, lightboxes, LED neon, 3D box-up (stainless steel, aluminium, acrylic), ACP, wayfinding systems, and statutory project signboards.

Do you handle installation? +

Yes. Layang handles installation for all signboard types — ACP panels, 3D lettering, LED systems, and project signboards. Installation is quoted as a separate line item.

Can you match my exact brand colours? +

Yes. We colour-match to provided Pantone, CMYK, or HEX references. For acrylic and ACP, we recommend an in-studio sample session under real light before production.

Project & Safety Signage

What compliance standards do your project signboards meet? +

We produce to JKR, JPS, SPAN, TNB, JKR, CIDB, and DOSH specifications. Specify the authority and project type when you enquire.

Do you provide ISO 7010 compliant safety signs? +

Yes. All safety signs are produced to ISO 7010 standards. We also produce GHS chemical hazard labels, photoluminescent evacuation signs, and floor marking to JKR and Oil & Gas (PETRONAS) requirements.

Do you provide formal quotations for project signage? +

Yes. Formal PDF quotations on company letterhead are available for all B2B and government orders. Email projects@layanglabuan.com.my.

Events & Exhibition

What event services does Layang offer? +

Full turnkey event production — exhibition booths, LED display walls, AV systems, 360° photo booths, stage structures, event furniture, and all print and signage. SME packages from RM 5,000.

How far in advance should I book an event? +

For full event production, contact us at least 2–3 weeks before the event date. For smaller setups, shorter lead times may be possible. WhatsApp us with your date and we will advise.

Can Layang handle my shop opening from start to finish? +

Yes. We can coordinate the signboard, opening banners, product stickers, and event set-up as a single package. Ask about our SME Grand Opening Pack.

Artwork & Design

Do I need to provide print-ready artwork? +

Not necessarily. If you have print-ready files (PDF, AI, EPS at 300 DPI) we use them directly. If you only have a logo or rough idea, our designer can prepare the artwork for you.

What file format should I send? +

PDF (preferred), Adobe Illustrator AI, EPS vector, or high-resolution JPG/PNG at 300 DPI minimum. For best results, provide vector files where possible.

Will I see a proof before production starts? +

Yes. For all signboard, sticker, and banner jobs we provide a digital proof for your approval before production begins.

Pricing & Payment

How much does a signboard cost? +

Pricing depends on type, size, material, and installation. Most signboard jobs are custom-scoped. Send us a WhatsApp or walk in and we will give you a clear quote within 15 minutes.
